Research Interests
Numerical Weather Prediction
We are working on improving the accuracy of numerical weather prediction using advanced or novel data assimilation methods, especially those that combine neural networks.
Solution Landscape
We have developed a HiSD package: SaddleScape. It is a Python package for constructing solution landscapes using High-index Saddle Dynamics (HiSD). This toolkit enables numerical computation of saddle points and their hierarchical organization in dynamical systems. It simplifies the process of saddle point searching, offers flexible parameter settings, and provides many visualization tools.

Computational Biology
We are developing a plant growth model based on stress feedback, aiming to use it to explain various phenomena such as phyllotactic patterns, leaf shape, and more.
This work is conducted in cooperation with Prof. Yuling Jiao, Peking University.
Scientific Machine Learning
We are attempting to solve nonlinear, time-dependent, high-dimensional PDEs with high accuracy using neural networks.
